The University of Iowa Department of Pathology, Division of Hematopathology offers comprehensive diagnostic evaluation of bone marrow specimens.
Morphologic evaluation is integrated with available ancillary studies including flow cytometry, cytogenetics and molecular pathology. Four hematopathologists with expertise in diagnosis of leukemia, lymphomas are available for consultation.
Turnaround time is 2-4 days with a preliminary result available on the day the specimen is received.
