Send a case: Please provide us with your complete or incomplete pathology report (including gross description), H&E glass slides, and pertinent special or IHC stains.

If possible, historical and laboratory information would be greatly appreciated and may enhance the consultative opinion.

Liver biopsies in particular benefit from laboratory values including transaminases, alkaline phosphatase and/or GGT, as well as appropriate serologies if hepatitis is suspected.

The clinical diagnosis and endoscopic appearance greatly aids in interpreting GI mucosal biopsies, especially in circumstances where colitis, Barrett's or neoplasm is suspected.

If special studies are anticipated or requested, sending selected paraffin blocks will expedite analysis.
